Covid-19 Information for McLaren Vale

31 December 2021

Effective today, the South Australian government has removed all remaining border restrictions:

  • People coming into SA from interstate will no longer be required to undertake the Entry Check SA.

  • People coming into SA from interstate will no longer be required to undertake a COVID test.

  • Double vaccinated people coming into SA from overseas will no longer be required to quarantine from midnight tonight.

With providing an update and overview of the current border restrictions being the main purpose of this page, we will now be removing this page from our website.

Covid information related to your stay at Karawatha Cottages can be found here
For further general information on Covid-19, please visit SA Government for up-to-date information.

When planning your trip to SA and the McLaren Vale, keep in mind that capacity restrictions for hospitality venues (restaurants, cellar doors, etc.) remain and pre-booking your dinners and wine tastings is highly recommended.

You can find most of McLaren Vale restaurants with details like opening hours, price range and our very own reviews on our Restaurant page and our suggestions for wine tasting experiences, walks, beaches and day-trips on the Fleurieu Peninsula our Explore page.
